JOE LLOYD

Joe Lloyd joined the Jones Center/Jones Trust as president and CEO in June 2024. He’s an active member of the Northwest Arkansas community with an extensive background in strategic leadership as a former executive at Tyson Foods where he specialized in global ethics and compliance, food safety, quality assurance, technology and global communications.

Joe has spent decades supporting nonprofit organizations. He served on the Downtown Springdale Alliance Board of Directors, Governance Committee from 2022 to 2023, and was board chair and a member of the United Way of Northwest Arkansas’ Governance Committee from 2016 to 2022.

He led programs to provide free summer camps to children affected by a parent’s cancer as an advisory board member for Camp Kesem at the University of Arkansas from 2015 to 2021. He served as Vice Chair of the Board of Directors for the Boys & Girls Club of the Alma Area from 2010 to 2014.

Since 2001, Joe has served as an associate pastor and board member for New Life Van Buren.

He was a U.S. Air Force as cadet commander for the 50 Reserve Officers Training Corp (ROTC) at the University of Arkansas from 1991 and 1993 and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry & Microbiology from the U of A.

Campus Vision Plan Joe took the helm at the Jones Center/Jones Trust during a unique time of growth and transformation. The organization is in the early stages of extensive plans to expand and reimagine our downtown Springdale campus with the help of a Design Excellence Award from the Walton Family Foundation.

Over the next few years, Joe’s unique blend of business and people skills will help bring the future into focus. With the help of the Jones Trust Board of Directors and senior leadership, he’ll work to broaden revenue potential and community impact, while providing vision, guidance and mentorship to staff and strengthening partnerships with key stakeholders and partners.
