Our full day, weeklong summer camps fall into these learning categories:

We offer 10 weeks of full-day camps. Camp is 8am to 5pm, Monday through Friday. Each day starts with the themed engagement in the morning, followed by general activities (swimming, ice skating and indoor and outdoor fun) in the afternoon. Check in starts at 7:30am with check out by 5pm. Registration is now open. Spots fill up fast!

 
 


1. NWA’S GOT TALENT
JUNE 2-6

We’re rolling out the red carpet for the newest stars in town! NWA’s Got Talent invites you to explore those hidden talents in acting, comedy, magic, circus and other kinds of performing arts. Build the skill and confidence you need to release your talent into the world! Camp culminates with a special showcase for parents where everyone gets the chance to shine!

2. TIME TRAVEL WITH THE UNIVERSITY OF ARKANSAS COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING

Embark on a journey through time at the Inside Engineering summer camp! This year’s Time Travel theme encourages you to tackle exciting engineering challenges across different eras. From designing ancient structures to envisioning futuristic technologies, discover how engineering has shaped our past and can build our future. Hands-on projects, teamwork, and creativity guide you in developing innovative solutions for challenges inspired by history and science fiction. Get ready to experience the thrill of engineering across time! Held In partnership with the University of Arkansas College of Engineering.

3. MAKE A MESS-TERPIECE

4. MESS FEST
JUNE 16-20

Make a mess in the name of science! Your experiments include exploring the different states of matter, launching rockets, creating fizzy chemical art, and making weather simulations. Want to go beyond Earth? We’ll launch into the mysteries of space by crafting solar systems and guiding "rovers" on Mars-like missions. Every day is a new adventure filled with discovery, teamwork, and curiosity!

5. DIY LAB
JUNE 23-27
Grades 1-6

Inventors, welcome to your engineering laboratory! Your camp features daily DIY challenges like constructing simple machines or motorized creations and other creative problem-solving activities. Fix your mind on designing and testing innovative prototypes as you learn about renewable energy and circuits. Each day brings new opportunities to tinker, build, and imagine.

6. SPORTING JC
JUNE 30 - JULY 3

If you love sports, sports and more sports, then Sporting JC is the camp for you. Play and compete in a variety of sports from volleyball, basketball and football to kickball, pickleball, ice skating, soccer and frisbee. Try them all while learning the value of sportsmanship, teamwork and enthusiasm. Game on! Reminder to parents that this is 4-day camp!

7. GET A CLUE!

Calling all detectives! Something’s been stolen and we need you to crack the case. Put on your thinking caps to study the suspects and get to the bottom of the mystery. At Get a Clue! Camp, flex your problem-solving muscles by untangling word puzzles, navigating an escape room and more. Work with your fellow detectives to overcome challenges and solve the crime!

8. WORLD OF ADVENTURE
JULY 14-18
Grades 1-6

Take a whirlwind journey across the globe in World of Adventure Camp! Hop across continents and oceans as you make dreamcatchers in North America, create Maasai bead bracelets in Africa, and design Thai elephant sculptures in Asia. You’ll also dance the Tango in South America and race handcrafted outrigger canoes inspired by the Marshall Islands. It’s a week-long adventure celebrating diverse cultures through hands-on activities and games that spark curiosity and global understanding.

9. ADVENTURES IN TIME
JULY 21-25
Grades 1-6

Travel back in time to ancient civilizations and iconic eras! Create your own timeless stories as you build Egyptian pyramids, craft medieval lanterns, and participate in Wild West games like lassoing and gold-panning. Experiment with tie-dye in the groovy 1960s and cap off the week with futuristic inventions and space simulations. Each day offers unique crafts, games, and activities that transport campers through history and beyond!

10. ARCHAEOLOGY CAMP WITH THE ARKANSAS ARCHAEOLOGICAL SURVEY
JULY 21-25
Grades 5-8

No bones about it! We’re going to team up and learn what archeology is, how it combines aspects of science and history, what archeologists do, and how we learn about the past using scientific methods. You’ll really “dig” topics like human use of plants, animal bone identification, and stone tool use, just to name a few.

11. ALL ABOUT BIKES WITH THE AMAZEUM
JULY 28-AUGUST 1
Grades 3-8

The Jones Center teams up with the Amazeum for a week of bicycle fun! In the mornings, you will learn how to ride a bike, practice your biking skills, and learn bike safety. In the afternoons, hop off that bike and get to tinkering! Explore tools, skills and creativity as you dissect and repurpose bicycles and other biking gear.

12. NATURE NAVIGATORS
JULY 28 - AUGUST 1

Grab your magnifying glass & compass and join us on a journey of the natural world, exploring ecosystems, habitats, and the essential roles of plants and animals. Each day includes exciting activities like scavenger hunts, building insect hotels, and constructing mini ecosystems. You’ll learn survival skills, track animals, and explore water conservation through interactive games and experiments. As your outdoor adventures spark curiosity, you’ll feel a deeper connection to the environment.

13. BEST OF SUMMER

Join us for one final hurrah and experience the best of the Jones Center's summer camps with this action-packed week! Each day has a different theme, encouraging you to play in performing arts, comedy, global adventures, myths and legends, and a variety of sports. Dive into hands-on projects, creative challenges, and fun games as we celebrate your favorite summer activities. And while it’s hot outside we’ll keep it cool with ice skating and swimming.  Three cheers for your summer full of adventure at the Jones Center!

14. APOCALYPSE WITH THE UNIVERSITY OF ARKANSAS COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING

Prepare for the ultimate challenge! This year’s Apocalypse theme puts you in a world where your survival depends on innovative engineering. From building shelters and purifying water to generating energy and creating emergency devices, you’ll tackle real-world problems in a thrilling, hands-on environment. With teamwork and creativity, campers will design solutions to thrive in a post-apocalyptic world. This exciting week of exploration combines STEM skills with imagination for an unforgettable experience. Will you have what it takes to engineer the future?
