Fit body basics 

Never taken a fitness class before but curious about all the fun?  Come join April for Fit Body Basics! Upbeat, high energy aerobics class that encompasses low to medium impact exercise set to music. Easy to follow choreography is great for all skill levels and ages. Participants should be able to get on and off the floor unassisted and maintain activity for 45 minutes.

Foam Roll Yoga

Combing soft-tissue rolling, joint mobility and Yoga into a rejuvenating, therapeutic flow.  Benefits include increased blood flow, flexibility, range of motion, decreased recovery time, stress-relief, decreased pain, healthier joints, increased energy, and more. Classes provide a foundation in Inquiry and goal setting in alignment and form in our practice, exercise and life. Whether you're an athlete seeking tools for performance, strength or recovery, a beginner or advancing student exploring benefits of yoga , alignment or self-massage , this class is a must-have addition in your weekly toolbox.

HIIT It Hard

HIIT, or high-intensity interval training, is a training technique in which you give all-out, one hundred percent effort through quick, intense bursts of exercise, followed by short, sometimes active, recovery periods. This type of training gets and keeps your heart rate up and burns more fat in less time. 

 

Intense Yoga Express

A fitness-based approach to vinyasa-style flow. Students will focus on linking conscious breath with a vigorous and mindful flow to sculpt and tone muscles. In this class, students will build strength, flexibility and concentration in just 30 minutes.

kickboxing

Knock out a total body workout that combines mixed martial arts with boxing. Learn basic boxing punches like jabs, hooks, upper cuts combined with martial arts kicks in a power-packed 30-minute class for warriors of all ages. 

Mindful Flow

Beginning with a centering meditation, students will move in and out of postures that steadily build in pace, complexity, & difficulty while moving with more internal focus. Students are encouraged to tune inward, bringing awareness to the physical, mental, energetic, emotional, & spiritual aspects of their experience.

Pilates

Each class will work to balance all muscle groups' strength and flexibility, with an emphasis on challenging the core muscles with each movement. Pilates is a challenging yet safe method to sculpt your body and to feel increased agility in your every-day movements.

POP Pilates 

A combination of total body Pilates exercises with the attitude of choreographed dance and the energy of music, results in an intense workout that is FUN and effective. Students will be challenged to flow from one exercise to the next, developing a rock solid core, while leaving NO muscle untouched. Every exercise can be modified to fit YOUR personal needs. You’ll leave feeling sweaty, strong and ready to take on MORE.

RIPPED 

R.I.P.P.E.D. is an acronym for: Resistance, Interval, Power, Plyometrics, Endurance and Diet.  R.I.P.P.E.D. is designed for all fitness levels, allowing a gym novice and trained athlete to both feel an intense full body workout. The class follows its acronym and changes up the workout every 6 to 9 minutes, allowing every muscle group to get a quick yet effective workout.

Silver Sneakers Classic

This fun and upbeat class moves through a variety of low impact exercises designed to get and keep the body moving. Classes will focus on strength and range of motion to improve and/or maintain daily activity levels. Using hands weights, hand balls, exercise bands, chairs and our own body-weight, Classic is easily tailored to individual needs.

Spin

Spin Class is a low impact, high intensity class. Using stationary bikes, you will ride up and down hills and mountains, race through straightaways and boost your cardio endurance. Not your average ride in the park.

SPYN-RGY

SPYN-RGY combines an intense cardio indoor cycling class with an upper body workout using light free weights and resistance bands. Get a total body workout in this fun 45-minute, high-energy class. Grab a set of hand weights and jump on the bike for a unique experience!

STRONG by Zumba®  

A full body HIIT-type workout (using only your own body weight) that blends plyometrics, muscle conditioning, and intense cardio – where every move is perfectly synced to the music.  Not a dance fitness class.  Open to people of all fitness levels with the instructor(s) providing modifications and guidance for every move.  Don’t worry if you miss a rep – after a few classes, you’ll learn the moves, which will help you push harder and keep advancing.  Bring water, a towel and come see what your body is capable of!

SYNERGY

See what the craze over High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) is all about!  Try one of our Synergy classes for maximum effort in minimal time. High intensity and medium impact, you will get an hour of work accomplished in just 30 minutes. Utilizing free weights, medicine balls, balance balls and body weight, each workout is designed for a total body burn.

water Aerobics

Give your joints a break and still get your workout in. Our Aqua Fitness class is a combination of underwater running and strength training to boost your cardiovascular health, muscle strength and endurance. Low impact and great for all levels.  Participants should be comfortable with being in deep water and be able to swim in water over their head.

Water Movement | senior circle

This invigorating class held in the pool improves cardiovascular conditioning, muscular strength and endurance using the buoyancy and resistance of the water to give you a safe, effective, fun and “no sweat” workout. It also allows a break from “impact” on the body so you are getting a great workout without pounding your joints, ligaments and tendons.
*Note* Participants may be required to workout in deep water

Yoga

Soothe stiff muscles and achy joints with a regular yoga practice. Students will need to bring a yoga mat.

CLASS LEVELS

Level 1: Beginner

Level 2: Intermediate

Level 3: Advanced

Brand new to the practice of yoga? Try our Beginner Flow class to learn the basics at a comfortable pace.  No experience required.

Our Gentle Flow class helps build core strength and increase flexibility and balance. Poses flow one into the other linked with the breath. Suitable for students of all levels and experience.

HOT YOGA

Flow Foundations classes are open to students of all levels and offer accessible alignment principles and biomechanics from which students can be playful, explore, heal and transform their bodies.  Students will safely learn the basics while more experienced students can take postures to a deeper level. 

Power Flow works to tone muscles as it builds flexibility and stamina. Your flow will focus on weight-bearing standing poses which build the heat necessary to aid stretching.  Perfect for athletes, stronger practitioners, and multi-taskers.  Power Yoga is an accessible way to increase flexibility while also getting a workout. Shift your practice into a higher gear and see where it takes you.

YogaStretch

Yoga Stretch will move your whole body through a complete series of seated and standing yoga poses.  Chair support is offered to safely perform a variety of postures designed to increase flexibility, balance and range of movement.  Restorative breathing exercises and a final relaxation will promote stress reduction and mental clarity.

Zumba® 

Forget the workout, just lose yourself in the music and find yourself in shape at the original dance-fitness party. Zumba ® classes feature exotic rhythms set to high-energy Latin and international beats.  Don’t worry if you’ve never danced before!  We’ll get you started and help you learn while you have a blast with the group.
