Body Blast is a high intensity cardio workout that aims to boost your metabolism and raise your heart rate to help you burn calories and lose fat. It is a 30-minute class that combines interval training and plyometrics to keep you moving and engage your whole body.
As with most things in life, you get out what you put in, so the class can be as challenging or as easy as you want to make it. The trainers will meet each individual at their fitness level and include modifications to make it perfect for people who are just getting started or people who have been working out for years. The short class time makes it perfect for beginners who don’t want to get overwhelmed by a long, difficult workout.
The Body Blast class is offered from 5 to 5:30 on Mondays and Wednesdays. It is followed by Simply Strength so you can double the length of your workout and add strength training to it.
The Jones Center offers unlimited classes for just $25 a month. If you choose to pay by the class, it is $3 for each class for members. Non-members can pay a $3 guest fee along with the $3 class fee.
Adult gym and fitness center memberships are only $45 for a full year and family memberships are only $90 per year.
